Delete your Lawgger account yourself from Settings → Account → Delete account, in the app or on the web. No account, or would rather write to us? Email privacy@lawgger.com from your registered address. Your workspace, matters, documents and personal details are erased; GST invoices are retained because tax law requires it.
This page covers the Lawgger account used by the Lawgger mobile app (Android package com.lawgger.app, and the iOS app of the same name) and by the web application. It is one account across all of them — deleting it removes access everywhere, not on one device.
Open Settings → Account → Delete account. You will be asked to retype your email to confirm, because this cannot be undone. The request is acted on immediately: your sign-in is removed and your workspace is queued for erasure.

If you cannot sign in — you have lost the device, the number has changed, or you would simply rather not — email privacy@lawgger.com from the address your account is registered to, asking for deletion. No form, no account needed. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, act on it within 7 working days, and confirm in writing when it is done.
If you own a firm workspace with other members in it, tell us in that email whether the whole workspace should go or only your own membership — deleting an owner without deciding this would lock your colleagues out of their own matters.
Nothing else is kept. Your matters and documents are never used to train AI models — before deletion or after it, as set out in the privacy policy.
Your sign-in stops working immediately. Workspace content and documents are erased from live systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within a further 90 days as those backups age out on their normal cycle. If you need erasure faster than that, say so in your email and we will treat it as an erasure request under the DPDP Act.
Deletion cannot be reversed, and Lawgger holds files that belong to your clients as much as to you. Export anything you need to keep — matters, drafts and documents — before you delete. If you have already deleted and realise something is missing, write to us quickly: within the 30-day window there may still be something to recover, and after it there is not.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to erasure, the right to access what is held about you, and the right to correct it. This page is how the right to erasure is exercised. The others, and our grievance contact, are set out in the privacy policy.
